Richard Pethigal wins Xcerrado in Brazil with Core 2

This year the 2012 Xcerrado Goias in Brazil was a big success. Over 120 pilots came to Jaragua to fly far and try and break their personal records. The conditions didn't turn out to be the best but over 3 days 2 pilots were able to fly over 300kms in total and another 27 flew more than 200 in total kms. Winds were a bit light and cloud base was low but the dessert scenery was beautiful and majestic. Richard Pethigal flying on his Swing Core 2 won the last day with a 153km flight and ended up on top of the podium in 1st place for the event as well.

Richard was quoted saying " the Core 2 is handling the turbulence better than most top EN D wings and losing nothing in the performance, thanks Swing for the nice glider".

Our congratulations to Richard!
