With the ESCAPE, SWING is launching a rescue of the latest generation onto the market that will keep your pulse racing even in an emergency. This is ensured by the particularly fast opening, the unprecedentedly low sink rate and enormous pendulum stability.

Thanks to the use of an innovative valve system, the new ESCAPE series from SWING combines the advantages of the proven double canopy (high opening safety and pendulum stability, fast opening time) with those of a “conventionally” constructed rescue system (easy to pack, advantage in terms of towing capacity) for the first time.

A total of 8 valve flaps ensure additional ventilation of the rescue system from the center during opening, based on the double cap principle, which significantly reduces the opening time and increases opening reliability. In contrast to the double cap, the valve flaps close after opening, which, in conjunction with an optimized design, leads to greater efficiency. Another advantage of the valve flaps is that they enable equalizing flows in the cap, which counteract any possible swinging movement.

The use of a special “zero-porosity material” additionally supports the opening behavior and efficiency, so that the same sink rates can be achieved with less material, which in turn has a positive effect on the pack size and weight. The best example of this is the ESCAPE M, which weighs just 1.05 kg with a maximum towing capacity of 105 kg, making it one of the lightest, if not the lightest LTF-approved rescue on the market!

Additional safety is provided by the rubber straps used in the inner container, which secure the lines in such a way that controlled tightening is guaranteed during the opening process. This practically eliminates the possibility of lines being thrown over. The well thought-out design is rounded off by the rescue parachute and inner container being painted in signal colors.

Who is the Escape for?

The ESCAPE is the first choice for all pilots who want more than just a second chance. The extremely low weight and pack size combined with very good sink rates make the ESCAPE ideal for use in reversible and/or lightweight harnesses such as the Connect Reverse, or as a second rescue – in a separate front container or in the integrated front container of the Connect Race.
