The SPHERA 2 RS is now also EN-C certified in size S. With that, our XC flagship is fully EN-C certified across every size.

As with the first-generation SPHERA RS, we originally developed the SPHERA 2 RS as an XC competition wing aiming for EN-D certification. What impressed us all the more was how accessible the final prototypes felt to fly, despite an aspect ratio of 6.9 and 75 cells. This forgiving behavior, even in the extreme flight range, was confirmed during the DHV certification flight tests.

None of this changes its original DNA: the SPHERA 2 RS remains a high-performance 2-liner for experienced XC and competition pilots who want more than a typical EN-C 2-liner and are ready to take the deliberate step into a higher performance class.

The SPHERA DNA stays, but it has been clearly evolved into the second generation. A new profile concept, the RAST positioned further forward, the optimized Shark Nose, double 3D shaping and a precise brake-gathering system deliver a calm, efficient and controlled flying feel, even at high speeds and in rough air. RAST works like the backbone of the SPHERA 2 RS. It stabilizes in the background and filters canopy feedback down to the essentials.

The SPHERA 2 RS is also the first wing to carry our new design language: SWING UNBOUND.
