What an incredible extended "Hammertage" weekend around May 1st. With perfect blue skies and ideal flying conditions, our pilots truly delivered – and a glance at the XContest leaves you speechless at what is now possible

Once again, Dietmar Siglbauer stands out with an EN-B glider among a field of EN-C and EN-D wings
A stunning 293.33 km FAI triangle with the STELLAR RS, launched from Ruhpolding, flying at an impressive average speed of 28.65 km/h

His comment
"Please more days like this The thermals were already strong early on and the glider was phenomenal I have to say it not just because I’m a team pilot I’m totally satisfied with the Stellar Its performance even on full bar can match many two-liners which I tested several times And the handling is just awesome"

Flying alongside him was our team pilot @hubairtim Tim Huber, who managed a remarkable 283.11 km FAI flight with his SPHERA RS despite a major construction site in the route
The 300 km mark was within reach and knowing Tim, it will fall very soon

@annejan88 Anne Jan Roeleveld also set a personal best in Switzerland launching from Riederalp with his STELLAR RS
A beautiful flat triangle of 277.60 km with a strong average speed of 28.79 km/h

We’re not only proud of these three but of all SWING pilots who achieved their personal goals or records on these incredible days

Why did we add another B-class wing with the NYRA

Why did we add another B-class wing with the NYRA RS to our lineup?
Over the years, our EN-B segment has evolved. The legendary Arcus RS moved towards Mid-B, the Miura RS took its place as a Low-B, and with the demand for lighter gliders, we introduced the Serac RS as a Mid-B. Last year, we positioned the Stellar RS as a high-performance High-B wing above the Nyos RS.

With the Stellar RS, our R&D team, led by Alessio Cassola, set a true benchmark in the High-B class. Now, we’re bringing that same flying experience to the Mid-B segment with the NYRA RS—perfect for pilots who find High-B (for now) a step too far.

As the Stellar’s little brother, the NYRA RS follows our new D-Lite Series philosophy: easy and intuitive, yet offering top performance and safety. If you've flown the Serac RS or Arcus RS, you’ll feel right at home—plus, you’ll love the added flexibility and performance boost.

And of course, the NYRA RS comes with RAST. If you’ve never flown with RAST but have heard mixed opinions, now’s the time to try it yourself and see why more and more pilots are joining the RAST community.
