The Mirage RS has proven itself in recent years as the ultimate all-rounder in speed flying and speed riding. Many top pilots in the scene (including the Soul Flyers, Valentin Deluc and many more of the world’s best pilots) rely on its good-natured flight behavior in combination with its great performance spectrum.

With the Mirage RS Plus we present a revised version of the classic, in which the proven basic concept remains unchanged, but the canopy has been upgraded with a new, very light 15 dtex material. For the pilot, this results in a weight advantage, a smaller pack size and even more uncomplicated launch behavior compared to its predecessor.

There are also improvements to the riser of the Mirage RS Plus: thanks to the optimized trimmer system, the angle of attack can be adjusted even more precisely with a deflection on the B-plane.

The revised riser geometry simplifies the handling of the Mirage RS Plus and ensures an intuitive connection to the canopy. In addition to other detailed solutions, the handling of the trimmer has been optimized. A T-handle at the open end of the trimmer strap replaces the previous loop so that it can be operated quickly and safely even when wearing thick gloves.

Who is the Mirage RS plus for?

When choosing your ideal size, you should consider your skill level, wing loading and area of use:

• Mirage RS Plus Pro for professionals and experts (only on the recommendation of a Swing Speedflying Team member)
• Mirage RS Plus 8.5/ 9.5 for very experienced pilots
• Mirage RS Plus 11 for intermediates and pilots looking for a speed wing for every occasion
• Mirage RS Plus 13/15 for training, beginners and coastal soaring

The sizes 13 and 15 are best suited for beginners and training.
The trimmer travels are ideal for speedflying beginners! The damped handling in these sizes massively supports the learning curve and forgives mistakes easily.

Depending on the take-off weight and terrain conditions, these sizes are also ideal for strong wind soaring or ground handling, or as a descent aid for hike & fly.
